QA Automation Engineer

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in API automation using Rest Assured
• Test automation using Robot Framework
• Experience in end-to-end automation testing
• 6+ years overall experience in QA / automation
• 3+ years relevant automation experience
• Strong API testing and automation background

Technical Skills

• API automation: Rest Assured
• Test automation: Robot Framework
• Programming: Java or Python
• Linux/Unix environments
• Shell scripting

Additional Skills (Preferred)

• Performance testing using industry-standard tools (backend applications)
• Strong debugging and scripting skills in Linux/Unix

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and develop API and UI automation test frameworks
• Build and maintain end-to-end automation suites using Robot Framework
• Perform API validation using Rest Assured
• Execute performance testing for backend services
• Work closely with development and QA teams for defect tracking and resolution
• Support CI/CD integration for automation suites
