We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Python and modern test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, and automation framework development and maintenance.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Playwright.
- Build and enhance scalable test automation frameworks.
- Develop and execute automated functional, regression, and end-to-end tests.
- Maintain and optimize existing Selenium-based automation frameworks.
- Support migration from Selenium to Playwright where applicable.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and document software defects.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure software quality.
- Contribute to improving test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall QA processes.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in SDET, QA Automation Engineering, Software Quality Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on programming experience with Python.
- Strong experience with Playwright for test automation.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium.
- Experience maintaining, enhancing, or migrating test automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and automation best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience migrating automation frameworks from Selenium to Playwright.
- Experience with CI/CD and automated testing in development pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.
