Senior Network Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to manage and optimize large-scale enterprise network infrastructure, focusing on Azure networking, WAN, data center, and security. The role involves managing Azure network architectures, routing protocols, enterprise firewalls, and network automation for global, multi-site environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage enterprise Azure network architecture, including Virtual WAN, ExpressRoute, and Private Endpoints.
• Optimize and manage ExpressRoute circuits and BGP routing policies.
• Implement and manage Azure Firewall Premium policies and DNS Zone integration.
• Oversee SD-WAN overlays, policy-based routing, and application-aware path selection for branch sites.
• Lead the implementation of Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and network segmentation strategies.
• Conduct security reviews, vulnerability assessments, and collaborate on threat investigations with SOC teams.
• Enhance network monitoring using Azure Network Performance Monitor, SolarWinds, and ThousandEyes.
• Lead capacity planning for WAN circuits, Azure VNets, and data center fabrics.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years in network engineering in large-scale enterprise environments (global WAN, multi-site data centers).
• 3+ years hands-on Azure networking experience (Virtual WAN, ExpressRoute, Firewall, NSGs).
• Expertise in BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS routing protocols.
• Experience with enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto PAN-OS, Fortinet, Cisco).
• CCNP Enterprise or CCNP Security (required), CCIE (preferred).
• Experience with network automation using Python, Terraform, or Ansible.
