Senior Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and optimize low-latency networks for trading and market data systems
• Deliver exchange, broker, and managed service provider connectivity
• Own network design, deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization
• Support global colocation infrastructure (capacity, access, vendors, logistics)
• Lead and deliver complex network projects in mission-critical environments

Required Experience

• 20+ years’ experience in network engineering
• Proven expertise in ultra-low/low latency trading and DMA environments
• Strong knowledge of exchange protocols (FIX, ITCH, OUCH, binary, Pillar)
• Experience supporting trading systems across multiple asset classes

Technical Skills

• Routing & Switching: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLAN/VxLAN, QoS, HSRP/VRRP
• Multicast: PIM, IGMP v2/v3, MSDP
• Architectures: Spine-Leaf, MLAG/vPC
• Platforms: Cisco Nexus
• Market connectivity: Global exchanges, tick data, FIX order flow
• Monitoring: PCAP tools, Corvil (preferred), PTP (nice to have)
• Automation: Python (preferred)
