Technical / Functional Skills

• Translate technical information into clear, concise, and effective documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Deliver post-sales content for online documentation (i.e., help articles release notes, etc.) as well as provide UI text (i.e., UI tooltips, labels, error messages, etc.) for use by our UX and Engineering teams.
• Integrate graphics and illustrations to improve the quality and usability of the documentation.
• Work cross-functionally with SMEs in the Engineering, Field Support, Sales, Training, and Product Marketing groups.
• Assist in defining standards, style, and terminology.

Roles & Responsibilities

• In this role, you will be leading the technical documentation for a brand-new SaaS B2B cyber security product.  
• You will be responsible for creating technical documents and manuals, explaining complex information in a clear and concise manner, and working with our product and engineer staff to ensure thoroughness and accuracy of product technical documentation.
• You must have a hands-on approach to the technology and to the products being documented.
• We will look to you as the expert and provide goals and objectives and recommendations on the documentation approach and plan. 
• Plan, develop, organize, write and edit operational procedures and user manuals 
• Produce electronic documentation using markup languages
• Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation 
• Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content 
• Manage updates and revisions to technical literature
• Apply branding and marketing guidelines as appropriate
