Solution Architect

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect who is passionate about designing scalable, high-performance applications while remaining hands-on with development. This is a highly technical Individual Contributor (IC) role requiring expertise in modern front-end technologies, solution architecture, and distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance application architectures.
• Lead the architecture and hands-on development of modern web applications using React.js and Node.js.
• Build and integrate distributed, event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design APIs and seamlessly integrate front-end and back-end services.
• Develop scalable backend services using Golang.
• Establish architecture standards, coding best practices, and performance optimization strategies.
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and recommend scalable solutions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Engineering, QA, and DevOps.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall software development experience with at least 3+ years in a Solution Architect or Technical Architect role.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Node.js
  • React.js
  • Golang
  • Apache Kafka
• Experience designing and developing standalone, enterprise-scale applications.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, asynchronous messaging, and event-driven systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns, system scalability, security, and performance optimization.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working with large-scale retail or eCommerce organizations is highly preferred.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience mentoring engineering teams and driving architectural best practices.
• Strong references demonstrating technical leadership, collaboration, and effective communication.
