Scrum Master

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
• Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum practices and delivery standards.
• Track sprint progress using metrics (velocity, burndown).
• Coach teams on Agile best practices and foster a high-performing environment.
• Remove impediments, manage risks, and coordinate cross-team dependencies.
• Partner with Product Owners to maintain a well-groomed, prioritized backlog.
• Ensure clear user stories with defined acceptance criteria.
• Support stakeholder communication and expectation management.
• Align delivery with Workday HCM releases and coordinate testing (UAT, system testing).
• Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and performance monitoring.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years as a Scrum Master or Agile facilitator.
• Experience with HR systems, preferably Workday HCM.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• CSM, PSM, or equivalent certification.
• Workday implementation or support experience.
• Familiarity with HR processes (hire-to-retire).
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
