We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure in a fully onsite environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Cisco networking technologies, routing and switching, wireless networking, and network troubleshooting. This role requires hands-on experience with network deployments, device installation, cabling, and vendor coordination.
Required Experience
- 8–10 years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering and support.
- Networking certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Cisco Routing and Switching.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals, including:
- VLSM (Variable Length Subnet Masking)
- CIDR (Classless Inter-Domain Routing)
- QoS (Quality of Service)
- IP Subnetting
- Experience with Cisco Wireless Networks.
- Knowledge of routing protocols such as EIGRP and OSPF.
- Experience with VLANs and VLAN Trunking.
- Hands-on experience with copper and fiber cabling.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve network connectivity and performance issues.
- Configure, support, and maintain Cisco routing, switching, and wireless infrastructure.
- Assist with installation, mounting, relocation, and decommissioning of network devices.
- Support network implementation and integration projects in collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
- Perform network upgrades, maintenance, and documentation activities.
- Monitor network performance and ensure high availability of network services.
- Troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking issues.
- Ensure adherence to network security and operational best practices.
