Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage local and wide area network (LAN/WAN) infrastructure.
  • Configure and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Monitor network performance and security, ensuring optimal uptime and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, including connectivity problems and security breaches.
  • Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement best practices for network security and data protection.
  • Evaluate and recommend network hardware and software solutions to meet company requirements.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance the network infrastructure.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5-8 years of professional experience as a Network Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPN, etc.).
  • Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network devices.
  • Experience with network security principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
