Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, internet circuits, and physical cabling.
• Architect network environments to reduce latency, jitter, and packet loss, while supporting scalability and future growth.
• Deploy and support network-related software updates, patches, and system upgrades to ensure continued performance and security.
• Maintain expertise in networking equipment and solutions from vendors such as Arista, Nokia, Juniper SRX, and Cisco.
• Build strong working relationships with IT Security, Cloud, and Infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration of networking solutions.
• Develop and maintain up-to-date technical documentation including network diagrams, standard operating procedures, and system design compliance records.
• Lead problem-solving efforts involving internal teams and external vendors to resolve complex network issues efficiently.
• Design and maintain a highly available and resilient network architecture, critical for supporting mission-critical applications.
• Understand the needs of end users, align network solutions with business goals, and prioritize information security requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 9+ years of experience in network engineering or related IT infrastructure role.
• Strong hands-on experience with switches, routers, and firewalls (Arista, Nokia, Juniper SRX, Cisco).
• In-depth understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, QoS, and network segmentation.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP, Arista ACE) are a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
