Key Skills

• Primary: Core Java, J2EE, Object-Oriented Design & Programming
• Secondary: Cloud platforms, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, Unix/Linux, Shell Scripting
• Strong Spring experience (Spring Batch/Integration a plus)
• ORM/Persistence frameworks: Hibernate, JPA, iBatis/MyBatis
• SOA & Web Services: REST/SOAP, CXF, JAXWS/JAXRS, JSON, XML
• Front-end: SPA development, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Ajax, jQuery or other RIA frameworks
• Tools: Maven, JUnit, Mockito, Eclipse/RAD, CI/CD pipelines, Git/Bitbucket/Subversion
• Big Data/Integration: Cassandra, Hadoop, Kafka, MQ
• Agile/Iterative SDLC experience, stored procedures, NDMs, AutoSys

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain middleware applications using Java, Spring, and ORM frameworks.
• Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures across Oracle, DB2, or MS SQL Server.
• Perform shell scripting and Unix/Linux operations for automation and deployment tasks.
• Build, test, and maintain REST/SOAP services and single-page applications.
• Implement TDD, unit testing, and CI/CD best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments for end-to-end SDLC delivery.
• Work with cloud-based environments, big data technologies, and messaging queues to support scalable solutions.
