Systems Administrator

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, storage, and applications
• Monitor system performance and identify and resolve potential problems
• Perform regular backups and restore data as needed
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect our IT systems from attack
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues
• Keep up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in systems administration

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 3 to 6 years of experience in systems administration
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems
• Experience with networking and storage technologies
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferred)
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
