Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and configure applications and database solutions using Oracle PL/SQL.

• Develop, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, and database components.

• Perform SQL performance tuning and query optimization to improve application and database performance.

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver effective application solutions and integrations.

• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, database, and integration issues across interconnected systems.

• Support build management, configuration management, and release management activities.

• Participate in solution design, technical analysis, development, testing, and implementation throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Identify opportunities for application and process improvements and recommend technical solutions.

• Work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to resolve issues and deliver projects within established timelines.

• Serve as a technical subject matter expert and provide guidance on Oracle PL/SQL development and database application solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.

• 8+ years of software development and SDLC experience.

• 8+ years of experience with SQL performance tuning and query optimization.

• Strong experience developing and supporting enterprise database applications.

• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams.

• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Build Management and Build Enablement.

• Experience with Configuration and Release Management.

• Experience supporting enterprise application integrations.

• Experience serving as a technical SME or providing technical leadership.

• Strong understanding of application architecture, database design, and development best practices.

• Experience working in Agile or other structured software development environments.
