Network Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Architect, design, implement, and administer data and VoIP networks, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Lead the design, deployment, and management of RightFax enterprise architecture.
• Provide expert support for mobile carrier and radio systems, including troubleshooting and optimization.
• Research, evaluate, and integrate new technologies to meet organizational objectives.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents involving RightFax, mobile devices, Cisco VoIP, PBX, and related network components.
• Oversee Distributed Antenna System (DAS) technology across all NYCH&H locations, ensuring reliable coverage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network upgrades, security standards, and performance improvements.

Required Skills

• Hands-on expertise in network architecture, administration, and troubleshooting (data, VoIP, PBX).
• In-depth experience with RightFax enterprise systems.
• Strong knowledge of mobile/radio carrier systems.
• Familiarity with Cisco VoIP infrastructure and PBX management.
• Ability to lead technology research, selection, and integration initiatives.
