Network Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Architect AWS networking using VPC, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, CloudFront, and Global Accelerator
• Design and integrate hybrid and SD-WAN architectures using BGP and OSPF
• Implement and manage network security using IAM, KMS, and third-party virtual firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet)
• Automate network provisioning and operations using Python (Boto3) and Bash
• Lead migration of multi-tier legacy applications from on-premises to AWS-native architectures
• Ensure network designs meet security, availability, performance, and compliance requirements
• Review and approve network architectures and changes

Technical Skills

• Deep expertise in AWS networking services
• Strong understanding of routing protocols and virtualized cloud networking
• Hands-on experience with network security tools and firewalls
• Advanced automation and scripting skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 8+ years of enterprise networking experience, including 5+ years in AWS cloud architecture
