Roles & Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage Cisco routers, switches (Nexus, Catalyst), Arista switches, and wireless APs/controllers.
• Design, deploy, and manage Cisco wireless networks and implement security protocols (WEP, WPA, WPA2, WPA3).
• Resolve network issues using tools like SolarWinds, Wireshark, and Cisco DNA. Analyze network performance to ensure optimal coverage and reliability.
• Implement network security measures (encryption, authentication) and develop automation scripts using Python/Ansible.
• Adhere to change management processes, provide timely resolution to network incidents, and meet SLAs.
• Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, incidents, and changes.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for 24x7 network support.

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience with Cisco routers, Arista switches, and wireless network infrastructure (APs, controllers).
• Deep knowledge of BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, and VPN/MPLS technologies.
• Proficiency with network tools (SolarWinds, Wireshark, Cisco DNA) and experience in network automation using Python/Ansible.
• Understanding of wireless standards (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax) and AP architectures (autonomous, cloud-based, lightweight).
• Strong problem-solving abilities in diagnosing and resolving network issues.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher preferred.
