Roles and Responsibilities

• Creating a cloud strategy and leading the adoption of new cloud technologies.
  
• Designing cloud infrastructures that run 24/7, and designing and implementing IaaS and PaaS solutions.
  
• Overseeing all aspects of the GCP environment, including provisioning, scaling, monitoring, and security.
  
• Designing and implementing database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data.
  
• Representing data flow through diagrams of a complex software system to help stakeholders identify and resolve errors.
• Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and Google Cloud big data.

Required Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of database and data warehouse technologies & concepts from Google (e.g., Big Query, Cloud SQL, Spanner, Big Table).
• Experience in enterprise-scale Data modeling/Data warehouse modernization/Cloud-based data lakes.
• Deep knowledge of cloud best practices to reduce the cost of operations along with high SLOs like Five 9’s availability across tiers.
• Deep understanding of GCP vertex search and other AI/ML services. Must be able to identify and solve AI/ML use cases across the enterprise.
• Deep understanding of microservices patterns and hands-on experience with Microservices.
•  Working knowledge and skills in cloud container services -GKE, storage services (e.g. Cloud Storage), database services (Spanner| Big Query).
