Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems promptly and efficiently.
• Ensure the security and integrity of user data and systems.
• Set up and maintain user accounts and permissions.
• Collaborate with IT team members to implement and maintain IT policies and procedures.
• Assist in software deployment, updates, and patch management.
• Educate end-users on proper system usage and best practices.
• Document and track support requests and resolutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Desktop Support Specialist for 4 to 8 years.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office suites.
• Familiarity with hardware components and peripherals.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting common desktop and software issues.
• Basic understanding of network protocols and configurations.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus.
