Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect with expertise in modeling data lake and data warehouse environments, as well as extensive experience in database analysis, optimization, and query performance optimization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database table retrievals, partitions, indexing, and query optimization techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement logical and physical data models for data lake and data warehouse environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data models.
• Develop and maintain data architecture standards and best practices for data lake and data warehouse implementations.
• Design and implement data partitioning strategies to enhance query performance on large datasets.
• Define and implement appropriate indexing strategies to optimize data retrieval operations.
• Analyze database performance and identify areas for optimization, including query tuning, index optimization, and database configuration tuning.
• Collaborate with database administrators and developers to optimize database performance and resolve performance issues.
• Conduct thorough database analysis to identify and resolve bottlenecks and performance challenges.
• Perform capacity planning and recommend hardware/software upgrades to support data architecture requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data architecture, data management, and query optimization.
