Data Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to collect, analyze, and interpret data to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience working with databases, reporting tools, and data visualization.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.

• Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate insights.

• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities through data analysis.

• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze data.

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand data requirements.

• Perform data quality checks and resolve data inconsistencies.

• Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and actionable insights.

• Prepare and maintain recurring and ad-hoc reports.

• Document data sources, processes, methodologies, and analytical findings.

• Support data-driven decision-making across business functions.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Data Analysis or a related role.

• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.

• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

• Experience with data cleaning, validation, and quality analysis.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.

• Strong communication and documentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python or R for data analysis.

• Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.

• Knowledge of statistical analysis and data modeling.

• Experience working with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
