Data Product Analyst

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, analytics teams, and UX teams to gather, analyze, and define business and technical requirements for data products.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working sessions to elicit requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Translate business needs into clear and structured Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and user stories.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for data product requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
• Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure alignment with product vision and roadmap.
• Define business processes, logic, impact assessments, and feature prioritization in collaboration with SMEs.
• Create and maintain product documentation, process flows, and stakeholder communication materials.
• Support testing activities including test plan creation, test cases, UAT support, and defect tracking.
• Analyze product performance and stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and issues clearly and proactively across teams.
• Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ensure backlog clarity and readiness.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Ownership, or Data Product Management in a digital environment.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong ability to translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical requirements.
• Proven experience working with stakeholders and managing cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and managing multiple priorities.
• Experience using ticketing tools such as Azure DevOps (preferred), JIRA, or similar systems.
• Experience creating and analyzing reports using Salesforce and/or Power BI.
• Experience developing test plans, test cases, and supporting UAT activities.
• Experience in designing, analyzing, improving, or testing software systems.
• Strong documentation skills, including BRDs, process flows, and workflow diagrams.
• Ability to manage requirements for complex data products.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality delivery.
• Strong facilitation skills and ability to drive consensus in cross-functional teams.
