Responsibilities:
- Deliver content components (UI language, product education, accessibility content, etc.) that are on-brand and meet legal and editorial standards.
- Contribute to the structural design of the product experience, including navigation, labeling, and flow.
- Lead adherence in content governance and approvals processes.
- Use and actively contribute to content systems, including standards, voice and tone, messaging, and accessibility libraries.
- Advocate for Accessibility Guidelines and Inclusive Design practices.
- Collaborate within design teams, including other Product Designers, UX Researchers, and Content Designers, as well as cross-functionally with Product Managers and Software Engineers.
- Present work confidently to cross-functional Directors.
- Demonstrate an understanding of how design connects with broader business value.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline, such as Interaction Design, HCI, English, or Rhetoric. Alternatively, certification from a credible bootcamp or similar accelerated learning program, or equivalent work experience.
- Self-directed in planning and structuring efforts, as well as executing at expected levels of quality.
- Advanced skills in UX Writing and Information Architecture.
- Intermediate ability in adjacent skills such as User Research, Interaction Design, and Visual UI Design.
- Thorough knowledge of the English language, including grammar, spelling, punctuation, and usage.
- Experience working with brand and copy standards, including style, voice, and tone.
- Familiarity with organizational navigation required for content compliance, including legal and accessibility reviews.
- Demonstrated experience with user-centered and human-centered design approaches.
