Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure to support our applications and services.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes using tools like AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, monitoring, and logging in an AWS environment.
• Ensure security and compliance best practices are followed in all aspects of AWS infrastructure and services.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and scaling using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system issues, and proactively implement solutions to enhance system reliability and performance.
• Perform regular backups, disaster recovery, and data migration tasks for AWS services.
• Work closely with the security team to implement and enforce security policies and access controls.
• Continuously evaluate and implement new AWS services and features to optimize cost and performance.
• Mentor and guide junior members of the DevOps team and promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven work experience as an AWS DevOps Engineer or a similar role, with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, EKS, VPC, IAM, and others.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes or Amazon EKS.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, ELK stack, or Prometheus/Grafana.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and security best practices in AWS.
• Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
