Key Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, debug, document, maintain, and modify high-complexity computer programs and applications to meet business and technical requirements.
• Participate in defining and estimating project timelines, cost, and tasks related to application architecture and software development. Recommend solutions that improve business processes by enhancing core architecture, technology strategies, and standards.
• Establish, refine, and integrate development and testing tools and environments to support efficient software delivery.
• Create and recommend improvements to unit and test plans, and refine testing processes based on organizational needs and assessments.
• Design both basic and detailed program specifications, ensuring that expected application performance levels are met by managing interfaces, service levels, and configurations.
• Guide technical staff and business partners in solving complex, multidisciplinary business challenges, using innovative and technical solutions.
• Monitor the operational efficiency of existing application systems, identify opportunities for optimization, and recommend technical improvements to ensure high performance.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of business needs and ensure that the development process aligns with business goals and strategic objectives.

Required Skills/Experience

• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript) and experience with development frameworks and methodologies.
• Experience in application design and architecture, including defining system interfaces, performance tuning, and establishing coding standards.
• Experience with unit testing, test-driven development (TDD), debugging tools, and ensuring software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Expertise in establishing and refining development and testing environments, including version control, CI/CD, and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve complex business problems using technical solutions.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, guiding technical staff through challenges and changes.
• Demonstrated ability to understand business processes, drive technology solutions that meet business goals, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
