Key Responsibilities

• Implement API requirements like security, throttling, caching, logging, monetization, request and response modifications, etc. using Apigee.
• Understanding of security protocols and best practices for API security.
• Develop and maintain best practices for Apigee-based architecture and design.
• Design and develop Apigee-based solutions that address complex business problems.
• Participate in code and design reviews to ensure adherence to established standards and best practices.
• Act as a liaison between the technical team and clients or stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of technical requirements and progress.

 

Qualifications

• Proven experience in API development and management using Apigee Edge or a similar platform.
• Experience in API development and management using Apigee.
• Strong experience with RESTful API design principles.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Experience with API testing and debugging tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
