API And Integration Developer (React, .NET, Python)

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven integration solutions. Focus on connecting LinkedIn's enterprise systems to enhance Talent productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Payroll, Finance, Sales Ops) to gather requirements, map processes, and produce technical design documents. Write test plans, support plans, and ensure high-quality API and integration solutions.
• Facilitate seamless data delivery and synchronization between enterprise applications using various integration technologies (REST, SOAP, messaging, and events).
• Work with technologies like Flask/FastAPI, ReactJS, Node.js, WebSockets, SQL databases (Postgres, Microsoft SQL, MySQL, Cosmos DB), and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Node.js + Express, Python + Flask/FastAPI, or similar technologies.
• Strong background in designing and developing RESTful APIs, microservices, SOAP, messaging systems, and event-driven integrations.
• Proficient in SQL (Microsoft SQL, Postgres, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cosmos DB). Experience with code versioning tools like GIT or VSTS.
• Experience working in Azure Cloud environments and using Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of ReactJS, state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Context API), and modern JavaScript tools and frameworks.
• Experience with API design, routing, middleware, security, and working with JSON, WebSockets, and other communication protocols.
• Hands-on experience working in a Unix/Linux environment.
