Roles and Responsibilities

• Work closely with the development team in accessing the applications for accessibility and get the issues addressed. 
• Work on multiple applications simultaneously. Keep all stakeholders updated on a daily and weekly basis.
• Publish reports of applications in conformity to standards. 
  
• Ensure that all tested-related work is carried out as per the defined standards and procedures.
• Maintain, update, and analyze reporting. Prepare precise Test Completion reports for Management to review.
• Create and execute tests for new and existing features and functionality (including creating test plans, writing and executing test cases, production readiness certification for new features, and test status reports for new features).

Required Experience

• 5+ years of experience in accessibility testing, 2 years in functional testing.
• Good Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and AA & AAA standards.
  
• Experience in accessibility testing on both the web and mobile is mandatory certified Accessibility Tester.
  
• Hands-on experience with Screen Reader On and Off.
  
• Experience in using different assistive technologies (JAWS, NVDA, Screenreader, Voiceover).
  
• Experience in using different tools like AXE, Color Contrast, Accessibility Scanner, and Light House.
  
• Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws, policies, regulations, and standards (Americans with Disabilities Act Amendment and Section 504).
