Workday HCM Consultant

Required Technical/Functional Skills

• Workday Certification in Core HCM (mandatory).
• Proven experience in designing, configuring, and supporting Workday Core HCM in an AMS or project model.
• Strong understanding of Workday business processes, configuration, testing, and security.
• Ability to conduct requirement gathering and discovery sessions with clients and propose practical solutions.
• Hands-on experience in at least 2–3 Workday functional areas, including but not limited to:
  • Core HCM (Mandatory)
  • HCM Security (Mandatory)
  • Recruitment / Hire-to-Retire / Talent Management / Adaptive Planning
• Experience in Workday reporting and integrations is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across global teams.
• Proven ability to deliver solutions independently and as part of a team.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Participate in design sessions and roadmap planning for Workday Core HCM.
• Configure Workday Core HCM modules according to business requirements and best practices.
• Collaborate with client teams to analyze requirements and produce detailed solution specifications.
• Support and maintain integrations, resolve defects, and implement updates/enhancements as needed.
• Track project issues and risks, communicate status, and escalate concerns when necessary.
• Provide guidance and support to geographically dispersed teams.
• Contribute to project governance, execution, and configuration management.
• Assist in Workday report development and troubleshooting where needed.
