Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
  • Manage and support day-to-day operations within Workday Financials, including modules for Suppliers, Customers, Business Assets, Procurement, Projects, and General Ledger.
  • Utilize Object Transporter, Workday Studio, BIRT, EIBs, Core Connectors, and Workday web services (SOAP and REST) to facilitate system integrations and data transfers.
  • Coordinate with 3rd party vendors and system integrators to ensure effective system implementation and support.
  • Apply knowledge of integration methods and technologies, including SOAP/REST, JSON, XML, and XSLT, to manage data flows and system interactions.
  • Support finance operations, including compliance with SOX/Audit concepts, and ensure adherence to financial controls and reporting standards.
  • Use Excel and other Microsoft Office products, including Access and SharePoint, to generate reports, analyze data, and support decision-making processes.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities to resolve system issues and optimize performance.

 

Required Qualifications/Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience with Workday Financials, including demonstrated success in managing operations related to Suppliers, Customers, Business Assets, Procurement, Projects, and General Ledger.
  • Experience with Workday tools and technologies, including Object Transporter, Workday Studio, BIRT, EIBs, Core Connectors, and Workday web services.
  • Experience working with 3rd party vendors and system integrators
  • Familiarity with system integration methods and technologies such as SOAP/REST, JSON, XML, and XSLT.
  • Finance, and SOX/Audit concepts is a must.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Access, SharePoint, and other Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
