Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, and document finance business requirements for Workday Financial Management implementations.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and support solution design aligned with Workday best practices.
  • Configure, test, and deploy Workday Finance modules including GL, AP, AR, Asset Management, and Procurement.
  • Conduct workshops, requirement sessions, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend Workday-based solutions.
  • Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities.
  • Develop and maintain functional documentation and user guides.
  • Provide end-user training and post-go-live support across US and Canada.
  • Collaborate with Finance, IT, and external partners to meet project milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and company policies.

 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant; 1+ year with Workday Finance or similar ERP.
  • Strong knowledge of US and/or Canadian accounting and financial processes.
  • Experience with requirements gathering, functional design, and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Workday reporting experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and across distributed teams.
  • Workday Financial Management certification preferred.
