We are seeking an experienced Workday Extend Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of custom applications and extensions within the Workday platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Workday Extend and Workday Integrations, with a deep understanding of Workday architecture and integration capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement custom applications and extensions using Workday Extend.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure seamless integration with Workday functional modules and third-party systems.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation (e.g., design specifications, test plans, and user guides).
• Perform unit testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Workday Extend applications.
• Stay up-to-date on Workday releases and recommend enhancements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).

 

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Workday Extend development experience in HR implementations is required.
• Candidates without direct Workday Extend experience in HR will not be considered.
• 2-3 years of experience in Workday Extend Development.
• 2-3 years of experience in Workday Integrations.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, XML, and XSLT.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

 

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Workday PRISM and Workday Studio.
• Familiarity with REST and SOAP APIs.
• Knowledge of HR processes and systems.
• Workday Extend Certification (preferred).
