Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements related to finance, accounting, and procurement processes.
Configure and customize Workday Financial Management modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, and Procurement.
Knowledge of Design and implement integrations between Workday Financial Management and other systems, such as ERP, CRM, and payroll platforms is added advantage.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Workday Financial Management solutions, including troubleshooting issues, implementing enhancements, and conducting system upgrades.
Partner with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and HR, to ensure successful implementation and adoption of Workday solutions.
Stay up-to-date on Workday product releases, new features, and industry trends, and proactively recommend opportunities for improvement.
Contribute to the development of internal tools, methodologies, and knowledge sharing initiatives to support the Workday practice.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience implementing and configuring Workday Financial Management solutions for clients in a consulting or professional services environment.
In-depth knowledge of Workday Financial Management modules, business processes, and configuration options.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting requirements, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GAAP, SOX).
Experience with Workday integrations, including EIBs, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio.
Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable recommendations.
Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Workday Adaptive Insights for financial planning and analysis.
Knowledge of additional Workday modules such as Human Capital Management (HCM) and Payroll desireable
Familiarity with agile and waterfall project methodologies.
Prior experience working with clients on financial services.
