Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with HR and other business teams to define system requirements, translate them into effective Workday solutions, and advise on best practices. Configure and modify Workday HCM (Core HCM, Compensation, Recruitment) to meet business needs.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize custom reports and dashboards for HR, Finance, and other cross-functional teams, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Analyze data flows, system configurations, and processes to recommend system improvements and enhancements that drive efficiency, data accuracy, and streamlined operations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting Workday-related issues, providing expert guidance to HR and end-users to resolve system-related challenges and ensure smooth transaction processing.
  • Support the deployment and testing of Workday updates and configuration changes, including managing system releases and troubleshooting configuration issues.
  • Develop and deliver training materials, including user guides, video tutorials, and other resources to help end-users understand and utilize Workday effectively. 
  • Manage key Workday projects through the full implementation lifecycle, working closely with Finance, Accounting, and other stakeholders to ensure correct backend mapping and data integrity.
  • Monitor Workday system performance, proactively identifying issues and ensuring data accuracy and integrity within HCM modules.
  • Maintain role-based security administration for HR, Payroll, and Finance users.

 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in systems support, HRIS administration, or related IT fields, with a focus on Workday HCM.
  • Workday Certification in HCM, and at least two additional Workday modules (e.g., Payroll, Recruiting, Compensation).
  • Strong proficiency in Workday HCM, including experience with role-based security, system configurations, reporting, and integrations.
  • Proficiency in supporting and maintaining Workday integrations with other systems (e.g., Payroll, Finance, etc.).
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to drive Workday-related initiatives, including testing, deployment, and troubleshooting efforts.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and create user-friendly documentation and training materials.

 

Preferred Skills
  • Experience in the deployment of Workday releases and updates.
  • Knowledge of data security and privacy standards related to HR and Finance systems.
