Key Responsibilities

• Designing and planning wireless networks, including selecting appropriate hardware and software components
• Installing and configuring wireless equipment, such as routers, switches, and access points
• Performing network audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement
• Troubleshooting network issues and implementing solutions to address them
• Managing network security, including implementing encryption and access controls
• Monitoring network performance and optimizing wireless coverage and capacity
• Collaborating with other IT teams and departments to integrate wireless systems with existing infrastructure
• Staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in wireless technology

Preferred Qualifications 

• CCNA Wireless Certified 
• Experience in Cisco Wireless LAN Configuration.
• Configuration of Light Weight Access Point Solutions, including Clean Air,AVC/QoS.
• Experience in managing Cisco Wireless LAN Controller.
• Thorough understanding of 802.11 based wireless architecture.
• Experience working in Cisco MSE models
• Good Knowledge on MSE - Context Aware Services (CAS) & Adaptive Wireless Intrusion Prevention System (wIPS)
• Experience in network (Route/Switch) engineering.
• Experience in wireless, security engineering, DNAC.
• Strong working knowledge installing, configuring, and supporting Cisco Router/Switch and Wireless LAN Hardware products.
• Cisco knowledge with network design, operational support, hands-on implementation and configuration of routers, hubs, switches, Controllers, Access points, and cabling in a large enterprise LAN/WAN /WLAN environment.
• Guest access – ISE guest access
• Flex Connect Experience on a large scale
• Cisco ISE experience to understand how ISE works and  integrates into wireless
• Knowledge of AAA protocols such as DIAMETER and RADIUS and  experience testing applications using these protocols.
