Responsibilities

• Support a Cisco centric WAN, LAN, and WLAN environment. This includes routers, firewalls, security, and WLAN.
• Own and fulfill small to large strategic or tactical wireless projects. Function as point of escalation for project execution issues.
• Paired with another junior engineer, manage 3-4 large simultaneous wireless refresh projects per quarter to completion.
• Conduct and or coordinate site surveys, and develop site plans to gain total coverage of facility.
• Develop wireless network infrastructure and make recommendations on system enhancements for optimization.
• Build BOM, coordinate resources, track execution, and validate deployment/upgraded equipment/site.
• Supervise and or performing site installs, maintenance, upgrades, or software enhancements to support the network infrastructure needs. 

Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or relevant field.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g. CCNA, CWNA).
• At least 10 years of experience in wireless network engineering, design, and implementation.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues.
• Strong knowledge of wireless networking protocols (e.g. 802.11, Bluetooth, Zigbee).
• Experience with network security protocols and measures.
