Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Ability to customize and configure Windchill according to business requirements, including creating custom workflows, data models, forms, reports, and integrations with other enterprise systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and other technical professionals, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of Windchill solutions with business requirements.
  • Project management skills to plan, coordinate, and track Windchill development projects, including managing timelines, resources, and risks.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to Windchill development, and provide timely resolutions.
  • Support the management in resource planning, capacity management, and forecasting, ensuring optimal utilization of team resources.
  • Implementation of automated testing frameworks and tools to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the testing process.

 

Required Qualifications/Skills
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Windchill PLM software, including its architecture, modules, and functionalities.
  • Proficiency in software development languages such as Java, JSP, JavaScript, and Groovy, which are commonly used for Windchill customization and extension.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN for managing Windchill customization code and configurations.
  • Experience in integrating Windchill with other enterprise systems using APIs, such as RESTful APIs, EJB APIs, or SOAP APIs.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA.
  • Experience in conducting unit testing, integration testing, and system testing of Windchill customizations to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Knowledge of Medical Device terminology and PLM applicability.
