Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall administration of PTC Windchill PDMLink.
• Plan and execute installation, configuration, performance tuning, and system upgrades.
• Oversee Windchill security, including user/group management and license usage optimization.
• Define and implement PLM strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet evolving business needs.
• Drive integrations between Windchill and enterprise systems such as CAD and ERP.
• Manage and maintain Windchill Info*Engine tasks, scheduled jobs, and background processing queues.
• Provide technical leadership during critical system events such as upgrades, migrations, and consolidations.
• Act as a subject matter expert and provide mentorship and training to junior administrators and technical staff.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards, especially within the medical device sector if applicable.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to support PLM initiatives and resolve issues.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Windchill Administration and Windchill Upgrades.
• Expertise in installation, configuration, performance tuning, and system upgrades of PTC Windchill PDMLink.
• Strong knowledge of Windchill security management, including user/group administration, license optimization, and access control policies.
• Experience driving integration initiatives with CAD tools (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks), ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and other enterprise platforms.
• Proficient in managing Windchill Info*Engine tasks, scheduled jobs, and background queues.
• Proven ability to lead major version upgrades, data migrations, and system consolidations.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) with the capability to mentor and guide junior administrators or technical staff.
• Working knowledge of Windchill PLM domain; experience in the medical device industry is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Relevant PLM certifications are advantageous.
