Provide technical leadership in the development of end-to-end wireless solutions involving CPEs, access, transport, core, and backend systems.
Assess new product requirements and develop technology solutions and architecture designs to support deployment.
Test, certify, and validate Small Cells, Home/SMB Routers, Wireless Access Points (APs), Wireless Access Gateways (WAGs), and Controllers for field deployment.
Collaborate with Operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve WiFi and mobile network issues affecting business or customer experience.
Develop tools, processes, and guidelines to support product development, testing, and validation of new wireless solutions.
Conduct lab evaluations and field trials to validate the capabilities and performance of new technologies.
Drive innovation in wireless technologies, including WiFi 5/6/7, 802.11ad/ay, UWB, Mesh Networking, and BNC, enhancing performance, reliability, and Quality of Experience (QoE).
Support initiatives in network security, virus detection, virtualization of network functions, and deployment of new applications and services.
Optimize Spectrum WiFi performance and public WiFi infrastructure.
Review design, code, and test plans to ensure quality and compliance with technical standards.
Required Qualifications
BSEE in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent; MBA preferred.
7–10 years of experience in wireless technology development and management, preferably with top MSOs, telcos, satellite operators, or leading wireless vendors in the U.S.
Deep expertise in wireless access technologies, including WiFi 5/6/7, 4G-LTE, and familiarity with 5G.
Proven experience managing wireless access engineering systems within large organizations.
Proficient in network diagnostics, troubleshooting, and inventory tools (e.g., SQL databases, Splunk, Plume, Scope).
Familiarity with CPE Wireless Gateway and Router designs and roadmap planning for major U.S. operators.
Hands-on operational experience with WiFi and 4G-LTE networks.
