Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, robust, and reusable integration solutions using the webMethods Integration Server and related components.
• Implement and manage APIs using webMethods API Gateway, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, and other developers to define technical requirements and integration strategies.
• Configure and maintain Universal Messaging, Broker, and Terracotta for messaging and caching needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring minimal downtime and effective root cause analysis.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and performance tuning activities.
• Document solution designs, technical configurations, and user guides for future reference and compliance.

Required Technical/Functional Skills

• Proven experience with Software AG webMethods 10.x suite (Integration Server, Designer, Developer, Universal Messaging, Broker).
• Expertise in webMethods API Gateway or similar API gateway platforms.
• Strong understanding of SOA, ESB, and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in developing RESTful and SOAP-based web services.
• Solid knowledge of web services security, policy enforcement, and API lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with XML, JSON, XSLT, XSD, WSDL, and related standards.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
