Web Engineering Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of web engineers to deliver high-quality applications on schedule.
• Own the development lifecycle from concept through release, ensuring alignment with product and UX goals.
• Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes.
• Ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability of web applications.
• Continuously improve team productivity, technical capability, and delivery efficiency through coaching and feedback.
• Stay current with emerging web technologies and incorporate relevant innovations into development practices.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation across the team and organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in web application development.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with cross-functional collaboration experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, and React.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Confluence.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices for modern web applications.
