Key Responsibilities

• Configure, optimize, and fine-tune WAF rules to secure web applications, ensuring minimal false positives.
• Implement and maintain OWASP rule sets; monitor and analyze WAF logs to detect and mitigate threats.
• Work with global teams (security, network, infrastructure) to deploy and manage WAF solutions.
• Troubleshoot WAF-related issues, respond to security incidents, and conduct root cause analysis.
• Utilize Splunk for log analysis, ServiceNow and JIRA for ticketing and issue tracking, and manage DNS, TLS, and network routing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in web security or web hosting, with hands-on experience in WAF configuration and optimization.
• Strong understanding of OWASP rule sets, Apache web server configurations, and TLS/SSL. Experience with Splunk Query Language is a plus.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, JIRA, and network security principles (DNS, routing).
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across global teams.
