Vulnerability Remediation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform vulnerability remediation using Tanium Patch, Deploy, and Comply modules.
• Execute OS and third-party application patching across Windows and Linux environments.
• Analyze vulnerabilities identified through Tanium, Tenable, Qualys, and Rapid7.
• Create, test, and deploy patching policies and maintenance schedules.
• Perform patch validation, compliance checks, and post-deployment verification.
• Troubleshoot patching failures and remediation issues.
• Ensure timely remediation of security vulnerabilities in line with compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to maintain secure systems.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Tanium Patch, Deploy, and Comply modules.
• Strong experience in vulnerability remediation and patch management.
• Expertise in Windows and Linux OS patching and third-party application updates.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Tenable, Qualys, and Rapid7.
• Knowledge of patch deployment strategies, maintenance windows, and compliance processes.
• Strong troubleshooting, validation, and operational support skills.
