Job Description

We are seeking a talented User Experience Designer to collaborate with various product stakeholders to understand product requirements and develop effective UX strategies and designs for intranet portals, web applications, and public-facing websites. This role involves researching user needs, creating evidence-based experience models, maintaining consistency across applications, and coordinating with cross-functional teams including business leaders, technology specialists, and domain experts. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements and is committed to timely delivery of UX artifacts.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct user research to gather insights, analyze business and functional requirements, and align UX strategy with overall project goals.
  • Create optimized interaction models, taxonomies, personas, user journeys, wireframes, and other UX deliverables.
  • Work independently with stakeholders to gather UX requirements and present design concepts, facilitating feedback discussions to refine designs.
  • Ensure design consistency across applications by utilizing a UX pattern library and adhering to responsive and mobile design standards.
  • Document user journeys, conduct task analysis, and implement UX processes including product design reviews and formative user testing.
  • Incorporate best practices for designing accessible systems.

 

Technical Skills
  • 10+ years of experience in UX design for desktop and mobile applications following a user-centered design (UCD) process.
  • Proven ability to solve complex design problems using strong research and evaluation methods.
  • Hands-on experience in creating interaction models and optimizing taxonomy structures for complex data.
  • Proficiency in responsive design, mobile design standards, and design systems.
  • Navigate the UX design lifecycle independently and effectively.
  • Present UX deliverables to stakeholders and facilitate productive feedback sessions.
  • Manage multiple projects while ensuring on-time delivery in a fast-paced environment.

 

Qualifications
  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in UX or a related field.
  • Experience delivering strong UX solutions in the insurance and healthcare domains is desired; experience in banking or financial services is a plus
