Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance enterprise-level front-end applications using Angular and related frameworks within a J2EE development environment.
• Participate in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from requirement gathering to deployment and support.
• Implement authentication and authorization features, caching strategies, and responsive UI designs.
• Write clean, reusable, testable, and efficient code using HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, CSS3, Bootstrap, SASS, Angular, Typescript, JSON, XML, and ES5/ES6.
• Maintain ownership of the complete front-end stack and optimize UI performance and scalability.
• Build Single Page Applications (SPAs) using Angular or other modern JS frameworks/libraries.
• Ensure applications meet ADA/accessibility compliance standards.
• Develop and execute automated tests using frameworks such as Karma, Jasmine, and Selenium.
• Collaborate with backend developers and QA teams to deliver high-quality software products.
• Follow best practices in application design, performance, and maintainability.

Job Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Front End/UI development with Angular and J2EE.
• Proven experience in all SDLC phases.
• Strong experience implementing Authentication, Authorization, and Caching strategies.
• Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks: HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, CSS3, Bootstrap, SASS, Angular, Typescript, JSON, XML, ES5/ES6, NPM, Maven, and other UI tools.
• Experience developing client-facing, responsive web applications.
• Skilled in building SPAs and reusable, modular components.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, performance optimization, caching, and scalability in web applications.
• Experience with ADA/accessibility compliance in UI development.
• Knowledge of test-driven development and test automation frameworks (Karma, Jasmine, Selenium).

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience with Spring Boot Java applications.
• Experience working with IBM WebSphere Application Server 8 or later.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (preferably Scrum).
• Development experience with cloud-based web applications.
• Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience developing applications for mobile and tablet platforms.
