Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated test scripts using Java and open-source automation tools such as Selenium, Serenity, and Cucumber.
• Collaborate with the development team to identify test requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
• Participate in the design and development of software solutions, utilizing Java, C++, or C# as necessary.
• Contribute to front-end development tasks using JavaScript to enhance user interfaces.
• Utilize tools such as Eclipse, JUnit, and Git for coding, testing, and version control.
• Ensure code quality and reliability through rigorous testing and adherence to best practices.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in a large-scale Federal IT program setting, ensuring alignment on project goals and timelines.
• Engage in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Maintain clear documentation of test cases, test results, and defects.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on testing progress and any identified issues.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on automated test coding experience using Java; development experience with C++ or C# is also acceptable.
• Familiarity with open-source automation tools such as Selenium, Serenity, and Cucumber.
• Experience working on large-scale Federal IT programs is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Eclipse, JUnit, and Git.
• Experience with front-end development using JavaScript.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
