Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain TIBCO suite products (TIBCO BusinessWorks, TIBCO EMS, TIBCO ActiveMatrix, TIBCO Hawk, etc.) across development, test, and production environments. 
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of TIBCO applications and services to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability. Tune the system to meet performance targets and prevent resource bottlenecks.
  • Manage the deployment and upgrade processes for TIBCO applications, ensuring smooth release management and minimizing disruptions.
  • Provide rapid response and resolution for any issues that arise within the TIBCO environment. Identify root causes of problems and implement solutions to minimize system downtime.
  • Implement and enforce security best practices, including regular patching, vulnerability assessments, and compliance with industry standards. 
  • Use TIBCO Hawk or other monitoring tools to monitor system health, generate alerts, and track KPIs. Proactively identify and address potential issues before they affect system performance.

 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in TIBCO administration, including TIBCO BusinessWorks, EMS, ActiveMatrix, or similar TIBCO products.
  • Experience with high-availability configurations, load balancing, and disaster recovery setups for TIBCO environments.

 

Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in the TIBCO suite of products (TIBCO EMS, TIBCO BusinessWorks, TIBCO Hawk, TIBCO ActiveMatrix, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of messaging concepts, including JMS, and integration patterns.
  • Knowledge of scripting and automation tools (e.g., Shell, Python).
  • Familiarity with UNIX/Linux and Windows OS environments.
  • Understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, and load balancing techniques.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools, such as TIBCO Hawk, Nagios, or similar.
