Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive accessibility testing on web and mobile applications to ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1, ADA, Section 508, and other relevant standards.
• Identify, document, and track accessibility issues, providing detailed recommendations for remediation.
• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to integrate accessibility int o the development lifecycle.
• Perform both manual and automated accessibility testing using tools such as JAWS, NVDA, Axe, and others.
• Develop and maintain detailed accessibility test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Provide training and support to team members on accessibility best practices and guidelines.
• Stay current with the latest accessibility trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve testing processes.

Required Skills/Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accessibility testing, with a strong understanding of WCAG 2.1, ADA, and Section 508 guidelines.
• Familiarity with accessibility testing tools (e.g., JAWS, NVDA, Axe).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Passion for creating accessible and inclusive digital experiences.
