Test Analyst (Banking Domain)

Responsibilities

• Design and execute manual and API test cases across project phases
• Prepare test strategy, test plans, and test reports
• Manage test execution, defect lifecycle, and test metrics reporting
• Support test traceability and quality assurance documentation
• Participate in defect triage and requirement discussions
• Collaborate with stakeholders and support client communications
• Work with testing teams to ensure quality delivery

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in manual testing across test phases
• Experience in test strategy, test planning, and test execution
• Strong knowledge of banking domain applications
• Experience with JIRA / Xray Test Management and Confluence
• Good experience in API testing (REST / GraphQL)
• Ability to prepare test metrics, status reports, and traceability matrices
• Experience in defect management and participation in defect triage
• Strong client-facing and communication skills
• Experience working in Agile environments (good to have)
