Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Technology Architect with strong expertise in S/4HANA and modern SAP development frameworks. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing scalable SAP solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid onsite environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust solutions using Object-Oriented ABAP and modern design patterns.
- Lead and contribute to SAP S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, and enhancement projects.
- Build and manage integrations using ALE, EDI, IDOCs, BAPIs, and SAP Proxies.
- Develop and support RICEFW objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (SMARTFORMS, SAP Scripts), and Workflows.
- Apply enhancement techniques such as User Exits, Customer Exits, BADIs, BTE, and VOFM routines.
- Perform performance tuning, debugging, and optimization using tools like SQL Trace, Runtime Analysis, and SCI.
- Collaborate with functional teams, business stakeholders, and offshore technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Manage and monitor background jobs and ensure system efficiency.
- Contribute to Agile development processes and best practices.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP ABAP in S/4HANA environments.
- Expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP and MVC architecture.
- Experience with ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
- Proficiency in CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services.
- Strong knowledge of ABAP Dictionary objects (Tables, Views, Data Elements, Domains, etc.).
- Experience with SAP Fiori development and Fiori Elements framework.
Preferred Skills
- Functional understanding of SAP FICO.
- Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including ABAP Environment and Cloud Foundry.
- Knowledge of Clean Core principles and extensibility approaches.
- Experience with side-by-side extensibility and custom code migration to BTP.
