Technical Writer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain a variety of technical documents, including architecture overviews, API guides, integration guides, user/customer-facing documentation, and internal operational guides.
• Simplify and translate complex technical concepts into clear, easy-to-understand content for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Work closely with engineers and architects to document designs, ADRs (Architecture Decision Records), and workflows.
• Ensure all documentation complies with internal governance and industry standards.
• Review and edit engineering-produced documentation to ensure consistency, clarity, and accuracy.
• Manage documentation repositories, ensuring proper version control and organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in technical writing, systems analysis, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and cloud-native systems.
• Ability to read and understand code, architecture diagrams, and ADRs.
• Excellent written communication and editing skills.
• Experience with documentation tools like Markdown, GitHub, and Confluence.
• Strong collaboration skills with engineering and architecture teams.
